I stopped buying school lunch after sophomore year because it was usually greasy or overpriced. Other than that, I have fond memories of buying school lunch in grade school. I didn't actually like the foot-long hot dogs, but the idea of eating something bigger than you were was quite appealing to a first grader.
School lunch has become THE issue of concern with educators, moms, and even the First Lady herself. Fed Up With School Lunch has recently piqued widespread interest in school lunch reform. "Mrs. Q," the anonymous blogger, has vowed to eat the same food as her students for everyday in 2010 for solidarity. She posts pictures of the food and invites guest bloggers to post about various topics concerned with school lunch. She's speaking up for the kids who have been, at least for as long as I can remember, simply fed up.Tweet
